Are you interested in Music Haven? Start by answering the following questions...

1. Do you live in one of the following Promise Zone neighborhoods of New Haven?

Dixwell, Dwight, the Hill, Long Wharf, Newhallville, West Rock, or parts of Amity, Beaver Hills, Downtown, East Rock, Fair Haven, Quinnipiac Meadows and Prospect Hill are considered Promise Zone. Not sure which neighborhood you live in? Click the Interactive Map below!

Click on the box icon at the top right-hand corner of the Interactive Map below and then click on the magnifying glass and enter your address. If the red dot falls in the blue areas, you qualify. If it falls in the purple or outside of New Haven, you do not qualify. Zoom out for a better perspective.

NOTE: if you live in New Haven but NOT in one of the Promise Zone areas and your family income is below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, your application will be considered as well. For a family of 4 that is approximately $50,000/year.  If you’re not sure if your family meets this threshold based on your family size, click here.

You must live in New Haven to qualify. Students enrolled in New Haven Public Schools (magnet schools) but residing in surrounding towns are NOT eligible.
